Update: Tembisa Hospital temporarily closed after nurse is shot and killed
Initial reports on the scene suggested that two people had died. GDoH has since stated that an enrolled nursing assistant was shot and killed and a policeman is in a critical condition.

Two people have allegedly died following a shooting incident at the Thembisa Hospital this morning.

It has been alleged that a man, believed to be a police officer, walked into the hospital and shot a female nurse before turning the gun on himself.
