Parts of Thembisa will have no power for about 72 hours from Wednesday, 23 February at 22h00 to Saturday, 26 February 2022 at 22h00.

This is due to the technical upgrade on the Substations E.
Affected areas include Hospital View, Ext 1, Ext 4, Winnie Mandela Zone 1, 8 & 11, Moriteng, Mashimong, Kopanong, Makhulong, Sethokga, Sedibeng, Ext 7, Oakmore, parts of Mqansa and parts of Ecaleni.
Residents are urged to treat their power supply points as live during this time.
