Dagga worth R600k seized, one caught
The Gauteng Traffic Police Special Law Enforcement Unit arrested the man in Ivory Park.
Gauteng Traffic Police arrested a 42-year-old man in Ivory Park for dealing in dagga.

The Gauteng Traffic Police Special Law Enforcement Unit arrested the man on February 23 after he was found in possession of 50.7kg dagga with an estimated street value of R600 000.
The man was detained at Ivory Park Police Station and is expected to appear in the Thembisa Magistrate’s Court.
“The Gauteng Traffic Police will continue to root out all criminal elements as part of the safety month programme,” said Sello Maremane, Gauteng Traffic Police spokesperson.
“Illegal dealing and possession of dagga has far-reaching implications as it is a major contributing factor to most crimes.
“The Gauteng Traffic Police will continue to disrupt the demand and supply value chain of dagga to ensure a safe and secure province.”
