An alleged police imposter has been apprehended in Ntshonalanga on February 24, with a police uniform and live rounds of ammunition for pistols and assault rifles in his possession.

Authorities stopped a white VW Polo in the neighbourhood at 23:00, searched the man and found police caps, ammunition, a constable rank insignia and SAPS masks. He was arrested.
The man is facing various charges, including possession of an unlicensed firearm and live ammunition and impersonating a police officer.
Letlhogonolo Moseki, MMC for Community Safety, said the arrest was proof that the city was on the right track to eliminating criminal activity.
“Ekurhuleni is not a home for criminals. We are going to root out all criminal elements in our City. It is time to take back our streets,” said Moseki
