Susan Wilsenach encouraged book lovers to make use of a free library app, Libby. This is an online library app where you can choose from thousands of books for free.
“To access Libby, you need to be a member of any library in Gauteng, and to join the library is free. Visit our Kempton Park libraries with your ID document and proof of residence. There is a one-month waiting period before your library card will be active,” said Wilsenach.
To make use of the app, you will need a smart phone or tablet and access to the internet.
Downloaded books are read offline.
Download Libby through the OverDrive app from Play Store, open the app, go to Gauteng Provincial Libraries, enter your library card number and start browsing.
