‘Robbery suspect linked to murder investigations’ – Ivory Park SAPS
Following his arrest on charges of house robbery, he was linked to two separate murders.
Ivory Park SAPS arrested a man on March 28 for house robbery and later linked him to two murder cases that occurred in Ivory Park in 2020 and 2021.

Capt Ben Matilumane said the 27-year-old was arrested in Ivory Park.
“Shortly after his arrest, informants offered information that the man was responsible for two murders that occurred in Extension 15, Ivory Park, one in 2020 and the other in 2021.
“Both victims were stabbed to death,” said Matilumane.
The suspect appeared in the Thembisa Magistrate’s Court on two counts of murder and house robbery. He has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear in court again for a bail hearing.
According to Matimulane, Brig David Ngcobo, the station commander of the Ivory Park SAPS, welcomed the arrest and thanked the informant for offering information that aided the officer’s investigation.
