Ivory SAPS social crime prevention team campaigns in Kaalfontein.

The Ivory Park SAPS social crime prevention team took to the corner of Kaalfontein and Adjacent streets during a campaign against GBV on March 29.

According to police spokesperson Capt Ben Matimulane, officers spoke to community members about GBV, distributed relevant pamphlets and encouraged recipients to share them with their family members, neighbours and friends.

“Those who find themselves on the receiving end of any form of violence by their partners were encouraged to seek help as soon as possible and to never suffer in silence,” Matimulane said.
