Woman robbed by man who agrees to meeting on Kerk Street
Kempton Park SAPS warns community about meeting strangers.
A 34-year-old woman alleged that she was robbed by a man who she arranged to meet on Kerk Street.

“The man going by the name Austine contacted the woman. He claimed to have obtained her contact information from a website,” said Capt Jethro Mtshali, the Kempton Park SAPS spokesperson.
According to Mtshali, they both allegedly agreed to the meeting in Kempton Park.
“It is alleged that while walking down Kerk Street, the man suddenly took out a firearm and robbed the woman of her handbag, which contained her cellphone and her bank card.
“She told police the man then forced her to provide details such as her PIN. He took R2 500 before ordering her to leave.”
