Man killed in head-on collision
A towing truck and vehicle were involved in the collision on the R21 near the R23 offramp.
A man was killed in a head-on collision between a towing truck and a light motor vehicle on the R21 near the R23 off-ramp in Kempton Park on April 22.

Russel Meiring from ER24 said paramedics arrived at 23:57 to find the towing truck and light motor vehicle in the right-hand lane.
“On closer inspection, paramedics found a man, believed to be in his 50s, trapped inside the car,” said Meiring.
The man had sustained numerous injuries and was declared dead on the scene.
“The driver of the towing vehicle escaped injury. Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations,” said Meiring.
