Benoni Flying Squad (BFS), with the help of a Kempton Park security company, arrested three suspects on Monument Road for possession of a stolen vehicle, on May 20.

According to BFS spokesperson Warrant Officer Grant Giblin, a security company in Kempton Park stopped the driver of a white Golf GTI for reckless driving and contacted members of the BFS.
“Members proceeded to the scene on the corner of Fiskaal Street and Monument Road to provide back-up.
“The three occupants of the vehicle were arrested. It had been discovered that the vehicle was reported stolen in a Springs,” said Giblin.
The suspects were detained at Kempton Park SAPS and the vehicle impounded.
In a separate incident, community members apprehended three suspects for possession of drugs at Vusi Musi, Thembisa.
Nyaope (heroine) and mandrax were confiscated.
