Mass water disruptions confirmed for Ekurhuleni on July 15
Several suburbs in the City of Ekurhuleni and City of Joburg metro regions will be affected by low or no water pressure during the maintenance period.
Rand Water has scheduled maintenance of a delivery valve at Palmiet Booster Station on July 15.

The planned maintenance will be starting at 06:00.
It is hoped that maintenance will be completed by 18:00 the same day.
Several suburbs in the City of Ekurhuleni and City of Joburg metro regions will be affected by low or no water pressure during the maintenance period.
The main objective of the maintenance exercise will be to repair the Pump 21 delivery valve at the station.
The pumping at Palmiet Booster Station will be reduced from 1 850 million litres per day to 1 270 million litres per day for the duration of the work.
The following areas supplied by Johannesburg Water may be affected by intermittent or occasional supply interruptions and low pressure:

• Halfway house
• Klipfonteinview 2
• Southills
• Lynn Meyer
The following areas within the City of Ekurhuleni may be affected due to intermittent supply interruptions and low pressure:
• Windsor
• Sunnyridge
• Fishershill
• Primrose Ext
• Glen Marias
• Klopper Park
• Marlands
• Solheim
• Elandsfontein
• Isando
• Industries
• Wadeville
• Elsburg
• Georgetown
• Driefontein
• Delville
• Germsiton South
Rand Water will start pumping in full immediately after completion of the maintenance work.

The relevant municipalities will inform consumers of the exact time of restoration where supply would have been affected.
