The event was held at the Boksburg City Stadium, on Jubilee Road, on July 8.

These officers will, as part of the city’s mission to fight lawlessness in the region, be deployed in various parts of Ekurhuleni.

The parade will take the number of metro police officers in the City of Ekurhuleni to 2 923.

“During the State of the City Address, the Ekurhuleni mayor indicated that fighting crime is one of the key components of the city and that cannot happen without well-trained manpower to carry out this daunting task,” said MMC for Community Safety Victor Moseki.
