CoE ready to assist GBV victims during 16 Days of Activism
The 16 Days Of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign started on November 25 and runs until December 10.
The City of Ekurhuleni joined the world in observing the 16 Days Of Activism against Gender-Based Violence on November 25.

In lending a hand to the fight against gender-based violence, the city urged its victims and residents in distress to use social workers available at the customer care centres (CCC) across Ekurhuleni.
The 16 Days campaign runs until December 10.
The theme for this year is ‘Socio-Economic Rights and Empowerment to Build Women’s Resilience Against Gender-Based Violence and Femicide: Connect, Collaborate, Contract.’
Social work services are available free of charge at the city’s CCCs including individual counselling, victim empowerment counselling, shelter placements, couples counselling and family preservation and counselling service.
