EDITOR – Cresslawn, a suburb of Kempton Park and one people don’t even know about, has become a dump.

Numerous concerns were raised with our ward councillor but nothing is done.
• Every time after load-shedding we have power outages. We don’t know why and that may be for hours then it is load-shedding again.
• We have a lot of senior citizens in our area that need to throw away rotten food and can’t afford it.
• Bins, we will wait for weeks and weeks for our rubbish collection. In the meantime it is becoming a health issue with flies, rats and other pests. What about the school? What if all those children get ill?
• At the school there is an open field that is being used as a public road. The gravel on the tar road is a problem and an accident is a possibility.
• For many years street lights are not working. It has been reported but not fixed.
• Potholes in some of the street needs to be fixed.
We can’t take this anymore. We don’t know if our concerns and complaints are being attended to as there are no improvements.
We need to submit our readings on the CoE app but some old people don’t even know how to use the app and sometimes it not working.
