Driver loses control and lands on a shack in Thembisa

According to the EMPD spokesperson, Marie Mashishi, it is alleged that it were shots fired before the incident.

This morning at around 11am, the driver of a white Audi lost control of the vehicle and crashed.

The vehicle landed on top of a shack in the Endulwini Section of Thembisa.

It is currently reported that there are entrapments in the vehicle.

On scene investigations are currently underway.

It is believed the motorist was approaching Andrew Mapheto Road from Hlabani Street when the crash occurred.

According to the EMPD spokesperson, Marie Mashishi, it is alleged that it were shots fired before the incident.

“Although it is rumoured that there are still people inside the car, it is still unclear how many.

“There have been no verified fatalities,” said Mashishi.
