Thembisa NGO pleads for building materials
The Ga Rona Community Development Centre is asking locals for assistance with building supplies.
The Ga Rona Community Development Centre (GRCDC) is holding a fundraising campaign to raise money for materials to remodel their new offices in Thembisa.

The organisation is asking the residents of Thembisa for assistance with building supplies.
GRCDC is a non-profit organisation registered with the National Department of Social Development since August 15, 2013.
It is a voluntary organisation, and its vision is to build healthy and resilient families in South Africa by rendering effective psycho-social services to individuals, groups, families and communities.
The organisation’s main principles include improving the quality of life of South Africans, respecting the rule of law, and accountability.
GRCDC relies on donations from local partners to be effective and sustainable.

According to Aaron Maepa, director of the centre, the organisation requests assistance in terms of materials to renovate their building.
“We need donations of two wooden doors, 100l of enamel paint, five window railings, six electricity sockets, a whiteboard, 20m of electric extension cord and ceiling boards.
“We are happy to promote the brand name of any sponsors within the structure itself.
“We appreciate anyone ready to provide a helping hand and aim to uphold the reputation of our neighbourhood,” said Maepa.
