Kemptonians flock to gin festival

The fourth instalment of the East Rand Gin Festival took place at Emperors Palace on May 9.

The fourth instalment of the East Rand Gin Festival took place at Emperors Palace on May 9 and celebrated South African entrepreneurship with various craft spirits on offer, which included gin, whiskey, vodka, brandy and other small-batch distilled craft spirits and a selection of craft beers. 

On May 9 the East Rand Gin Festival was held at Emperors Palace for the second year in a row and was bigger and better, with many stalls selling various craft spirits and beers as well as delicious food and items ranging from chocolate and cheese boards to jewellery and handbags.

Among the revellers who enjoyed the live entertainment and some of the tasty craft refreshments were Paula Vermaak of Benoni, Natalie Hall of Edenvale and Mandy Sears of Kempton Park.
