Fudumala School Jersey Drive calls for sponsorship

Fudumala School Jersey Drive aim to restore their sense of dignity and keep them warm this winter.

Residents are invited to help the Fudumala School Jersey Drive to provide school jerseys to learners in need.

The school jersey handover is scheduled for July or August.

For both primary school and high school learners, the sponsorship of one jersey is R350.

The objective of the initiative is to supply learners of ten schools in and around Thembisa with school jerseys.

They have set a target of between 500 and 1 000 jerseys.

The schools that will benefit from the initiative are:

• Inxiweni Primary School
• Isekelo Primary School
• Isiziba Primary School
• Tshepisa Primary School
• Nyiko Primary School
• Welamlambo Primary School
• Ingqayizivele High School
• Masisebenze Comprehensive School
• Thuto ke Maatla Comprehensive School
• Tembisa West Secondary School.

Khabonina Mnguni, the co-founder of Zibangwenya Supplies, said, “Our goal is to ensure that every learner in the area has access to a school jersey, as currently, approximately 2 out of every 10 learners attend school without one.

“That’s why we are calling on private and corporate sponsors to partner with us in this cause.
