Dye said she started as a wellness coach after her mother died in 2003.
“I lost my mom at 19 due to bad health, and I became interested in living a healthy, active lifestyle and sharing with others,” said Dye.
She said that on her journey as a wellness coach, she faced various challenges, including ensuring that she ate healthily and exercised consistently to lead by example.
She added that as a wellness coach, she achieved much to be proud of, such as helping a participant who had a dramatic deterioration in her health to the point where her doctor warned her she had to lose weight.

“She joined my first challenge. I helped her lose 42kg, coming down from 109kg to 67kg.
“From this, I realised that I could assist others who had a strong desire to lose weight or be healthy,” she told the Express.
Dye said that in the upcoming years, she sees her weight loss challenges expanding on the East Rand and advised other wellness coaches to be patient with their participants.
“Help them get started on a one-on-one basis or join a weight loss challenge, which is the training ground where they learn to live a healthy, active lifestyle and learn about good nutrition and various types of food.”
She added that she enjoys being a wellness coach because she meets and works with various people.

“I love being a service to others,” she said.
In addition, she said that since she started as a wellness coach, she has learnt that it is not only about her but about others and leaving a legacy.
“My interest lies in giving the most effective and efficient service to the community, and I enjoy investing valuable time in showing my participants how to become the best version of themselves by beginning to live a healthy, active lifestyle,” she concluded.
