On June 16, the vibrant township of Thembisa saw an outpouring of youthful energy during the highly anticipated ‘Impacting youth and changing the future’ event.

According to one of the organisers, Reverend Mkhwanazi, the day proved to be much more than just a commemoration of the Soweto Uprising.

“Motivating the youth to chase their dreams, they emphasised the importance of education, hard work, and fighting against adversity.

These influential figures sowed seeds of ambition and resilience, encouraging the next generation to dream big and actively shape their destinies.
