Life Link director named a finalist at Woman of Stature Awards
Sharon Rushton, Founder and Director of Life Link Pregnancy Crisis Centre was nominated for the Woman of Stature Awards 2026 in the Woman in Community Services category.
The director of Life Link Pregnancy Crisis Centre in Kempton Park has been recognised on a national stage after being named a finalist at the Woman of Stature Awards 2026.
haron Rushton, founder and director of the centre, was nominated in the Woman in Community Services category.
The awards ceremony took place on April 11 at the Indaba Hotel and Conference Centre in Fourways.
Rushton was announced as a top three finalist in her category, in recognition of her contribution to supporting pregnant women and babies in crisis over the past 25 years.

“I am humbled to have placed in the top three. To be acknowledged for work done over the last 25 years is a great honour. It has been both challenging and rewarding, but I strive to be a voice to the voiceless, the unwanted, the abandoned and the pre-born,” said Rushton.
The Woman of Stature Awards celebrate women of exceptional calibre, recognising leaders, innovators and change-makers whose impact is felt not only within their industries but also in their communities.
