Arwyp and ER Consulting celebrate four years of partnership

Arwyp Medical Centre and ER Consulting Inc celebrated four years of partnership on September 15. The organisations partnered in 2022 to provide emergency care for patients.

To both organisations, four years of partnership represents thousands of patients, countless emergencies and many moments where teamwork and clinical excellence have made a real difference.

What makes this partnership special is their shared commitment to put the patient first.

“In emergency care, collaboration, professionalism and trust are essential and we value the role ER Consulting plays within our casualty environment and Arwyp.

Arwyp’s ambition is clear: to build an organisation known for excellence, compassion and outstanding patient care. Le Roux added that they cannot achieve that alone and need strong partners who share their values and vision.

ER Consulting Inc is a division of the First Care Solution group of companies and manages emergency departments across the country in various hospitals.

According to Dr Oluwatomisin Oyeniyi, principal clinical manager at the Arwyp Emergency Unit managed by ER Consulting Inc, many of their doctors have a diploma in primary emergency care to manage emergencies as they arise.

“We have had quite a good relationship with Arwyp and obviously, in the beginning of every relationship, you start off with getting to know each other and as time progresses, things improve and you learn how the other person wants things to be done.

“Being able to provide services in Arwyp Medical Centre has been a privilege that we haven’t taken for granted and we hope that it continues.

“We look forward to a very prolonged relationship. We were having a discussion that the hospital celebrated 40 years and we are celebrating four years so we hope to be able to have that long-term relationship with Arwyp and continue to provide them with good service,” said Oyeniyi.
