Festival Mall Robbery: Four million in jewellery taken – SAPS

Kempton Park SAPS spokesperson, Sergeant Dipuo Ditshego said around R4-million worth of jewellery was taken by nine armed suspects.

Earlier today, nine armed suspects forced open security doors at a jewellery store in Festival Mall.

The suspects broke open display cases and made off with a large amount of items.

According to Kempton Park SAPS spokesperson, Sergeant Dipuo Ditshego around R4-million worth of jewellery was taken.

Units from multiple security providers as well as the SAPS responded to the scene.

“No shots were fired and the get away vehicle used by the men is unknown.”
