Wanted ARMED ROBBERY suspect caught in Kempton Park

The suspect arrested is believed to have been involved blue light robberies. When searching the vehicle, officers found a police uniform.

This afternoon, security services from Sec Pros, assisted in the arrest of a suspect wanted for armed robbery.

According to the information available, the vehicle used during an armed robbery was picked up on LPR Cameras in Kempton Park.

Within minutes of the notification being received, security officers spotted the vehicle and began monitoring it and its driver.

Backup was called and with the assistance of teams from NoJack, SecureDot, the EMPD North Task Team, Crime Intelligence, Bad Boys, Kempton Park EMPD, Imperium Risk, and Black Hawk Tactical the vehicle and suspect were intercepted.

After attempting to flee the scene the suspect was apprehended.

The vehicle was searched by law enforcement and officers are believed to have found a police uniform and a blue light rig used to pull over vehicles.
