Murder accused former Kempton Park hairdresser, Denise Hattingh appeared in the Kempton Park Regional Court this morning, October 22.

During proceedings, the court was advised that the state had finalised its investigation.

The state further said that it plans to proceed with charges of premeditated murder against Hattingh.

Her defense however asked for the court to consider a lesser charge.

The matter was postponed to November 11 and Hattingh was remanded in custody.

Hattingh is accused of killing 29-year-old Markus Greeff on May 15 at a property on West Street in Pomona.

Hattingh was arrested on May 16 after police issued a lookout for her in connection with Greeff’s murder the previous night.
