Ivory Park police investigate murder after body found near stream

On July 5 in the afternoon, Ivory Park Police responded to a murder scene near a stream between Tswelopele Extension 6 and Extension 8.

On arrival, officers discovered the lifeless body of an African male lying in the water.

The body was recovered and found to have sustained multiple injuries, including bruises and stab wounds.

The motive for the killing remains unknown, and the suspect has not yet been identified.

Captain Neldah Sekgobela confirmed that the deceased is unidentified.
