Flying squad arrests five suspects, seizes drugs, car and motorcycle

Five suspects were arrested for drug related offences at Greyilla and Commissioner Streets, Kempton Park as well as Wenden, Hamilton and Station Roads, Brakpan. Crystal methamphetamine, mandrax and heroine were recovered in these separate incidents.

Benoni Flying Squad members arrested five suspects, recovered drugs, a motor vehicle and a motorcycle between January 26 and February 1.

Five suspects were arrested for drug-related offences at Greyilla and Commissioner streets, Kempton Park, as well as Wenden, Hamilton and Station roads, Brakpan.

In further policing, a white Audi A3 was recovered at Republic Road, Ivory Park, reported hijacked on a Rabie Ridge case and a white Big Boy motorcycle at RTJ Namane Drive, Thembisa, reported stolen on the Linden case.

Investigation continues in these cases.

The suspects aged between 23 and 37 years will appear in the local Magistrate’s Courts facing charges of possession and dealing in drugs.
