Drug suspect arrested as stolen bakkie recovered in Kempton Park

During the arrest 14 and a half mandrax tablets and eight rocks of cocaine were recovered.

Benoni Flying Squad members arrested one suspect and recovered one motor vehicle on May 4.

At around 13:30, members patrolling in Kempton Park arrested a 27-year-old suspect on the corners of Long and Casuarina Streets.

During the arrest, 14 and a half Mandrax tablets and eight rocks of cocaine were recovered.

In further policing, a stolen white JAC T9 bakkie was recovered with Tracker at Sterkfontein Street between Olifantsfontein and Centurion, reported on a Sandringham case.

Investigation continues in these cases.

The suspect appeared in the Kempton Park Magistrate’s Courts facing charges of possession of drugs.
