Thembisa author Tshepho Arnold Nkuna was born and raised in the village of Zebediela in Limpopo.

Arnold said that by the time he was in matric, his family told him to follow what he loves because he is multitalented.

He explained that he started writing at the age of 12.

“The few friends I had also supported me when I got to high school. I met a friend who gave me a direction towards becoming a great author and I used his advice to conquer it all,” said the author.

According to Arnold, being an author gives him the advantage to change lives and that’s what he loves about it.

In addition, the young author said that he has travelled to places he never thought he would get to which is something that enables him to stay motivated.

Since Arnold started his career of being an author, he has written four books – Abandoned Dreams, Until I Was A Woman, Abandoned Dreams Two and Does Love Exist. He is currently working on his fifth book.

“All those books are accessible on Amazon and Goodreads internationally. If people are keen to have hard copies, they are welcome to get hold of me and I will place orders for them,” said Arnold.

He added that in future he sees himself being out of the country and travelling the world because he believes that the mindset of a person who travels a lot and the one who’s in one place is different.

Arnold said that when it comes to writing his role model is JK Rowling, who wrote Harry Potter because she made it possible for other authors to have hope in writing.

“Have your manuscript ready, God will make it happen,” he advised other upcoming authors.
