EMPD bust suspect for dealing dagga
The suspect facing charges of possession and possible dealing in an illicit substance was handcuffed and taken to the Rabie Ridge Police Station.
EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit officers arrested a 38-year-old male suspect for possession and possible dealing in dagga on August 13 in Rabie Ridge, Thembisa.
The EMPD’s spokesperson, Kelebogile Thepa, said that as officers patrolled the Rabie Ridge area, they received information from a reliable source about an individual suspected of selling dagga.

She told The Thembisan the officers swiftly responded to a residence on Kite Street in Ext 1, where they found the wrongdoer in possession of 70 medium ziplock bags of dagga with an estimated value of R1 400.
Thepa said the suspect facing charges of possession and possible dealing in an illicit substance was handcuffed and taken to the Rabie Ridge Police Station.
“He should soon appear in the Midrand Magistrate’s Court,” said Thepa.
