National campaign brings financial education resources and guidance to Thembisa matriculants.

The Old Mutual Roadshow, a national campaign dedicated to championing positive futures through education and community support, made its way to Thembisa on September 5.

Hosted at Thembisa West Secondary School, the roadshow aimed to provide invaluable resources and guidance to matriculants in quest of higher education.

Powered by the Mass and Foundation Cluster, the roadshow showcased Old Mutual’s investments through its digitally based financial education resources of Learn. Think. Do.

These resources are available in various formats, platforms, and languages, ensuring accessibility for all learners.

The downloadable course material aligns with the national curriculum, focusing specifically on topics covered in the matric mathematical literacy subject.

Education is a key pillar of the Old Mutual Roadshow, as it recognises the transformative power of knowledge and its ability to create a brighter future.

With over 500 matriculants, community members, and teachers in attendance, the roadshow in Thembisa sought to equip matriculants with crucial information about applying for the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) funding, bursaries, as well as university and TVET college admissions.
