Riverfields Precinct, in partnership with LoveStruck Philanthropy, will host a golf day to raise funds for children with disabilities.

Riverfields Precinct, in partnership with LoveStruck Philanthropy, announced that the Rolling Together 2023 Golf Day will be on November 2 at Serengeti Golf Estate.

Businesses and individuals can participate in this event that supports various charities and uplifts the lives of children with disabilities.

The Rolling Together Golf Day will have various sponsorship packages to suit different preferences.

Corporate participants and donors involved in the event will receive Section 18A tax certificates for their contributions.

The event will have exclusive packages.

The Four-Ball Package, valued at R10 000, will offer an exceptional golfing experience, including a round on the Jack Nicklaus-designed Signature Golf Course and full access to the rugged grassland-themed 18-hole course.

The package will also include opportunities for wine tasting, participation in an art exhibition, and engaging in bidding activities.

Guests will enjoy an exclusive meet-and-greet with celebrities and sports stars and complimentary starting, scoring, and marshalling services.

Access to the driving range and short game practice area will be provided, alongside the convenience of fully equipped change rooms and a dedicated golf bag chauffeur service.

Benefactors will also get an 18A tax exemption to recognise their philanthropic support.

As part of this comprehensive package, sponsors will receive hole sponsorship recognition, further amplifying their commitment to making a positive change.

The event will also have hole sponsorship opportunities, allowing sponsors to set up branded tables and interact with potential clients while they await their tee time.

Companies can also sponsor prizes, offering items like ball markers, personalised gloves, golf bag towels, clothing, equipment, travel experiences, spa packages, and more.

Gideon van der Vyver of the Riverfields Management Association expressed the importance of giving back.

“The Rolling Together Golf Day is an excellent opportunity for businesses to support children with disabilities and help them lead independent lives.

“All proceeds from sponsorships and donations during the event will directly benefit the partnering charities.

“Community is at the core of Riverfields Precinct’s mission, and it is what connects with us and drives our support for this initiative,” he said.

The Wheelchair Project, an initiative by LoveStruck, addresses the pressing need for specialised wheelchairs for children with physical disabilities in Daveyton.

Many children endure lengthy waits for standard wheelchairs, while others require custom equipment like electric wheelchairs to improve independent participation in their school life.

Contributions during the event will significantly impact the lives of these children, providing them with mobility, purpose, and empowerment.

During the gala dinner, included with the package for all golfers participating, a specific wheelchair auction will grant the opportunity to support a child in need of a wheelchair.

The charities involved will share the general donations.
