How to conduct yourself when stopped by EMPD

Being pulled over by the EMPD does not necessarily mean you are guilty of something, and the driver can avoid volatile situations by remaining calm.

It advised to always co-operate with what the officers say and avoid being arrogant or adversarial.

Sometimes, drivers tend to instruct the officers on how to do their jobs. Avoid doing this at all costs.

Never resist arrest because the officer might have to use force against you.

When arrested, do not attempt to pay a bribe to the officer(s).
