EMPD recovers hijacked vehicle in Thembisa

According to EMPD spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Kelebogile Thepa, the owner of the vehicle reported it as hijacked, and a case was opened.

The EMPD’s Specialised Task Team, deployed in the Northern Region, recovered a hijacked VW hatchback abandoned in Leboeng Section, Thembisa, on January 18.

EMPD spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Kelebogile Thepa said officers were on patrol when a passer-by vehicle stopped them to report a suspicious red VW hatchback parked in front of a house.
