EMPD arrests man wanted for damage to property

The EMPD Specialised Task Team officers arrested a 24-year-old male suspect wanted for malicious damage to property on January 30.

“Armed with a warrant of arrest, EMPD officers made a turn in Difateng Section and found the sought suspect relaxing at his residence,” said EMPD media liaison officer Thabiso Makgato.

The suspect was arrested and taken to the Thembisa Police Station.

Makgatho said the suspect will soon appear in the Thembisa Magistrate’s Court.
