Kempton Park SAPS wraps up month of love

Lesomo mentioned that such awareness will be done on a regular basis until the community’s trust in the South Africa Police Service is gained back.

The Kempton Park SAPS support head, Colonel Motsatsi Lesomo, and officers alongside PSA members took the initiative of promoting excellent service to residents of Kempton Park who visited the police station on February 29.

“February is the month of love and we wanted to share this beautiful time with our community.

“We decided to offer them an excellent service, which starts with empathy and putting our community at the centre of everything,” said Lesomo.

“These services meant treating our community with respect, providing prompt assistance, communicating clearly and concisely, focusing on their satisfaction and also promoting a positive attitude to gain back the community’s trust,” said Lesomo.

Five hundred pamphlets addressing GBV were also distributed to the community and candy with messages of love were shared.

Lesomo said that such awareness will be done regularly until the community’s trust in the SAPS is won.
