Uber driver feeds the homeless in Kempton Park
Local uber has started a foundation to assist the homeless.
Myten Phala Digoro, a local Uber driver in Kempton Park, took a proactive stance in addressing homelessness when he founded a feeding scheme.
Digoro launched Vuka Homeless: We Will Survive Together, which is aimed at providing essential support to those experiencing homelessness in the area.
Driven by a deep sense of empathy and a desire to make a positive impact, Digoro has transformed his vehicle from a mode of transportation into a vessel of hope and nourishment for the less fortunate.

He hopes to not only provide sustenance but also a sense of dignity and belonging to those who have been marginalised by society.
By offering meals, hygiene kits, and emotional support, he aims to uplift spirits and foster a sense of hope among the homeless.
Digoro encourages members of the community to support his initiative by volunteering their time, donating resources, or spreading awareness about the challenges faced by the homeless.
Together, through collective action and empathy, he believes that positive change can be achieved.
“I firmly believe that we can overcome any obstacle when we stand united,” said Digoro.
He stated he could make a difference, one meal at a time. For more information, call 079 350 6709.
