Kempton Park karateka bags medals
Megane won a gold medal for kata, silver for kumite and gold for unison kata (team kata).
Karateka Megane Potgieter from The Dojo – Kempton Park took part in the annual New World Shotokan Karate Regional Championships on April 13.
The event was held in Boksburg.

“I am a very proud instructor, she has worked hard,” said sensei Janien Potgieter.
Potgieter said the dojos that made up the central region were Benoni, Boksburg, Kempton Park, Witbank and the Vaal while dojos that made up the Lowveld region were Sabie, Hazyview, Nelspruit and White River.
