SAPS raises awareness for Child Protection Week

Kempton Park SAPS spokesperson Sargent Dipuo Ditshego said the visit was a celebration of Child Protection Week, which aims to raise awareness of children’s rights as articulated in the Construction of the Republic of South Africa and Children’s Act (Act 38 of 2000).

McDonald employees donated juice and seeds they also painted the pupils’ faces, and the jumping castle was organized by Social Crime for the pupils to have fun.

Abrokwa provided safety tips to teachers and learners. They were also supplied with important police contact numbers.
