Planned power interruption for parts of Kempton THIS Saturday

Residents can expect yet another planned power interruption in the Kempton Park CBD and surrounds from 07:00 to 18:00 on June 1.

Residents and businesses in the Kempton Park CBD as well as the taxi rank and airport freight services will be without power on Saturday, June 1.

This comes as technicians from the City of Ekurhuleni (CoE) plan to conduct emergency maintenance of electrical components in the area.

As a result power will be interrupted from 07:00 to 18:00.

“The maintenance work will affect power supply to customers in the residential and industrial areas,” said CoE’s spokesperson Zweli Dlamini.

Those affected are advised to treat electrical networks as live at all times while work is ongoing.
