Flying squad nabs two suspects and recover several vehicles
On May 22 and 23, the team arrested two suspects for possession of drugs at the corner of Elston and Park streets, Benoni and Wenden Avenue, Brakpan.
Officers from the Benoni Flying Squad arrested two suspects and recovered three motor vehicles between May 20 and May 26.

They recovered nyaope (heroine) and Mandrax in these separate incidents.
In further policing, three abandoned vehicles were recovered when the team found a red Mazda 323 at Chris Hani Section, Daveyton reported stolen on a Thembisa case, a white Isuzu at Ext 13, Ivory Park reported hijacked on a Thembisa south case and a white Mitsubishi bakkie at Protea Street, Northmead, Benoni reported stolen on a Benoni case.
Investigations will continue into all cases.
The suspects aged 27, will appear in the Benoni and Brakpan Magistrate’s Courts facing charges of possession of drugs.
