The City of Ekurhuleni has advised that technicians are attending to a power supply interruption in Kempton Park due to vandalism of power supply infrastructure.

The power supply interruption affects Norkem Park.

Affected streets include parts of Q. van der Walt, Easton Avenue and PA Du Plessis Avenue.

The estimated restoration time is 21:00, however technicians will work towards restoring power supply sooner,” said CoE spokesperson Zweli Dlamini.

Residents are advised to treat electrical networks as live at all times while work is ongoing.
