Maintenance will leave many without power in Kempton Park

On Friday, November 8 a large number of areas will be without power as City of Ekurhuleni technicians conduct planned maintenance.

Residents are asked to take note that technicians from the City of Ekurhuleni will be conducting repairs on power cables supplying various areas in Kempton Park on Friday, November 8.

The maintenance is scheduled to take place from 08:00 to 14:00.

According to CoE spokesperson Zweli Dlamini, residential and industrial customers in the following areas can expect to be affected:

  • Esselen Park
  • Glen Erasmia
  • Birchleigh
  • Birchleigh North
  • Parts of Norkem Park Extension 3
  • Witfontein
  • Bredell
  • Bredell agricultural holdings
  • Pomona
  • Pomona Estates agricultural holdings
  • Brentwood Park agricultural holdings
  • Serengeti Boulevard
  • ERWAT and surroundings

Customers are advised to treat electrical networks as live at all times while work is ongoing.
