Local gym hosts first beauty and fitness competition
The Muscle Tower Gym hosted its first beauty and fitness contest.
The successful inaugural Muscle Tower Gym Beauty Contest at Masiqhakaze Secondary School highlighted the determined contestants’ strength and grace and the community’s tremendous support.
The event empowered young women from all backgrounds through fitness, beauty and self-confidence.
Mathew Nkomo, the event organiser, was grateful for the overwhelming support.

“Thank you to all our supporters. We thank the parents, teachers and community members who supported this event.
“Their dedication to the contestants played a major role in making the competition an unforgettable experience.
“The energy in the room was truly remarkable, and it is clear Thembisa has abundant talent and enthusiasm.”
The competition highlighted the contestants’ beauty, strength and confidence, with participants excelling in various categories, from fitness routines to glamorous attire. Nkomo reflected on the dedication shown by the women.
“The contestants’ commitment was inspiring. Their hard work and perseverance have set the stage for future success and empowerment.”

Looking ahead, Nkomo is excited for what is to come.
“This was our first competition, and it is just the beginning. We are thrilled to announce that next year’s Muscle Tower Gym Beauty Contest will be on August 9.
“We will keep everyone updated as the date approaches. We are committed to making this annual event bigger and better, continuing to create a platform that empowers young women and strengthens our community,” he said.
