Man (39) arrested for fraud in Kempton Park
The suspect was charged with fraud and appeared in the Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court, where he was released on bail.

A 39-year-old man was recently arrested for fraud by Kempton Park SAPS.
According to the victim, an unknown man parked two trucks, at his plot in Bredell, Kempton Park.
The man claimed he would return to pay the owner but never did.

Kempton Park SAPS spokesperson, Sergeant Dipuo Ditshego, said that after waiting for the man to return, the victim decided to investigate the trucks’ ownership online.
The search revealed that the trucks belonged to Store Vehicle Solutions, prompting the victim to contact the company.
“A 39-year-old male later arrived at the plot, posing as a debt collector, and took both trucks,” said Ditshego.
By mid-2024, the victim was surprised to be contacted by the police regarding a case of theft involving the two trucks.
He cooperated with authorities, leading to an investigation by Detective Sergeant Tumelo Phaka.

The suspect was eventually arrested for fraud, exposing his false claims as a debt collector.
The suspect was charged with fraud and appeared in the Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court, where he was released on bail.
The investigation remains ongoing.
