Bredell SPAR customer wins brand-new Hyundai
Cindy Moller’s life changed forever on June 18 at SPAR Bredell when she won a fiery red Hyundai Grand i10 Auto Sedan in a national SPAR competition.
On June 18, SPAR Bredell was buzzing with excitement when Cindy Moller, a lucky shopper, arrived to claim her brand-new Fiery Red Hyundai Grand i10 Auto Sedan, the grand prize in a national SPAR competition.
Moller won the car simply by purchasing participating products during the two-month competition, which ran from April 22 to June 22.
These included SPAR brand frozen mixed chicken portions, SPAR sunflower or granola oil, Protex hygiene soap, and others. She was one of 50 winners from across South Africa.

Beaming with disbelief, Moller shared her surprise. “I have never won anything before and was still in shock when I received the news. Winning this car means so much to me.
“I never imagined I would win anything in my life. I went shopping with my children, bought the items we needed, and that was it. When I got the call to say I had won a car, I thought it was a joke. I ran to the office to tell my colleagues. I was in total disbelief.”
A single mother, Moller explained that while she already owns a car, this prize is a blessing after a challenging period.
“Last November, I was in a car accident and did not have a car for three months. It was a struggle taking the kids to school and getting to work. Having a second car now is a huge relief. It feels like a reward for what I went through,” she said.

SPAR Bredell retailer PA, Bronwyn Marian, expressed the store’s delight at handing over the keys.
“We are ecstatic that one of our shoppers won this car. SPAR runs a weekly draw to decide which store gives away the car each week. This time it was us, and we could not be happier for our customer,” said Marian.
