Stolen vehicles recovered and drug suspect arrested in Ekurhuleni

Police recovered a stolen motorcycle and car, and arrested a 25-year-old man for drug possession in Ekurhuleni between June 30 and July 5.

Between June 30 and July 5, members of the Benoni Flying Squad arrested one suspect and recovered a motor vehicle and a motorcycle.

Officers found an abandoned, stripped Big Boy motorcycle at Water Crescent, Mapleton Ext 10. The motorcycle was reported stolen in a case from Bramley.

A red Mazda 323 was also recovered along Gumede Street, Daveyton. This vehicle was reported stolen in a Middelburg case.

In further police action, a 25-year-old suspect was arrested on July 1 in Station Road, Brakpan, with Mandrax recovered in his possession.

Investigations are ongoing in these cases. The suspect appeared in the Brakpan Magistrate’s Court, facing charges of possession of drugs.
