According to the City of Ekurhuleni, technicians are attending to the outages, and repairs will continue throughout the day. The estimated restoration time is 23:59, depending on progress.

Affected areas include:

  • Rhodesfield (including Willington Road, Fortress Street and surrounding streets)

  • Glen Marais (Botes Road)

  • Kempton Park (Pienaar Street)

  • Birch Acres Extension 3 (Lewerik Crescent)

  • Serengeti Wildlife Estate

The City has urged residents to treat all electrical network points as live while work is ongoing.
