Hundreds of Santa Shoebox gifts delivered to spread festive cheer

Look carefully. Zoom a little closer. Among the festively decorated boxes is Rhoda Toker of Benoni van Ryn Rotary Anns.

With the help of friends, family and clients, the real estate agent delivered 413 lovingly packed gifts to the Santa Shoebox Project’s Johannesburg depot on October 30.

Since its establishment in 2006, Santa Shoebox has delivered over 1.3 million gifts to underprivileged children across the country and built seven fully equipped Early Childhood Development centres.
