Travellers warned of traffic disruptions at OR Tambo Airport

Road closures will affect access to Cargo Road, Arrivals Road and Piazza parking. Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time.

Residents, motorists and travellers are urged to take note of several road closures that will be in effect at OR Tambo International Airport tomorrow, November 18.

According to Airports Company South Africa (ACSA), Cargo Road will only be accessible via Voortrekker Road leading to the SAA Cargo Area.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and plan ahead.

Those making use of the Arrivals Road will be rerouted to Parkade 2 North and South for all drop-offs and pick-ups.

Traffic in and around the arrivals section is expected to be heavier than usual due to the closures.

In addition, short-term parking at the Piazza will be completely closed.

Travellers can stay informed with real-time updates via the ACSA mobile app and on ACSA’s official social media channels throughout the day.
